What is FADE?
FADE is a crypto social media app with coin rooms, posts, stories, Notes, leaderboards, direct messages and group chats on web and iPhone. Explore the social features or learn about FADE Platforms Inc..
How do I sign in to FADE?
Use Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. Those are the two sign-in options in the current web app; a new user then claims a FADE handle. Read the sign-in announcement. Signing in does not approve a trade or transfer.
Is Microsoft PhotoDNA screening live on FADE?
No. FADE’s application for Microsoft’s PhotoDNA Cloud Service has been approved, and infrastructure is integrating it. Screening is not yet live. Read the approval announcement and Microsoft’s PhotoDNA FAQ for the service’s role and limitations.
Does FADE partner with Privy?
Yes. FADE partners with Privy, a Stripe company, for embedded wallet infrastructure. Privy provides the wallet technology behind FADE’s self-custodial wallet experience. Read the FADE and Privy announcement and Privy’s security information.
Do I have to trade to use FADE?
No. You can follow people, share posts, watch stories and talk in rooms or DMs without placing a trade. Accounts are for adults 18 and older. Trading is a separate, optional feature for eligible accounts.
How do FADE coin rooms work?
Each indexed coin has a dedicated room connected to its market page. Find the coin by ticker or contract address and open its room to follow the conversation. You must sign in to participate.
What are Notes on FADE?
Notes are short updates above your Messages inbox, shared with people you follow who follow you back. A Note holds up to 60 characters and lasts 24 hours. Replies go to a private DM.
Can I use FADE stories and group chats on the web?
Can I send money in a FADE DM?
Eligible trading accounts can send USDC to another FADE user from a DM. Check the recipient, amount, network and any costs before confirming. A conversation does not authorize a transfer, and completed blockchain transfers generally cannot be reversed.
Where can I explore FADE?
Open your feed to explore the web app. Read About FADE for product information and the Trust Center for company verification, wallets, safety and support.
How do I report something?
Open the three-dot menu on a post, comment, or profile and choose Report. You’ll be prompted to sign in if you’re not already signed in.
Where can I get help?
Visit FADE Support for account help, questions, or bugs.
Do I need an account to browse?
You can explore public posts and tokens without signing in. Account actions such as following, liking, and joining a room ask you to sign in.
Where are the policies?
Read our Terms, Privacy policy, and Community guidelines. Copyright concerns have a dedicated reporting page.
Why does FADE combine a feed and a terminal?
FADE puts public conversation and token discovery alongside the trading interface. A post or another person’s activity is context, not a recommendation or a promise of returns.
Can I browse a coin without being able to trade it?
Yes. Reporting coverage and trading availability are different. A listed asset may be available for discovery even when buying or selling it is unavailable.
Why is a price marked delayed?
A delayed label means the displayed data is not current enough to treat as live. Check the timestamp and refresh before making a decision; a displayed price is not an executable quote.
Why does the terminal say Fetching?
FADE is requesting a quote for your entered amount. Wait for the quote and review the result before confirming. Typing an amount does not place a trade.
Where do I check the cost of a trade?
Review the quote and its fee details before confirming. The terminal separates the FADE fee, network fee, price impact, and slippage limit when those details are available.
Why can the final amount differ from a displayed price?
Market movement, available liquidity, fees, and the size of your order can change the result. Review the executable quote rather than calculating the outcome from the headline price alone.
What should I check before confirming a swap?
Check the asset, network, amount, recipient where applicable, fees, and minimum received. Stop if anything is unexpected. Never approve a transaction you do not understand.
What if a transaction is still pending?
Check its status and transaction identifier before trying again. Contact Support with the identifier and a description of the issue; do not include private keys or recovery information.
Can Support undo a completed blockchain transfer?
Completed blockchain transfers generally cannot be reversed. Verify the destination and network before sending. Support can investigate an issue but cannot promise recovery.
What information is safe to give Support?
Share your username, a description, relevant timestamps, screenshots with sensitive details removed, and public transaction identifiers. Never send a password, login code, private key, or recovery phrase.
How do I protect my wallet access?
Keep recovery information private, use the official site, and examine permission requests before approving them. Wallet access and account sign-in are related but are not interchangeable recovery methods.
What if I cannot sign in?
Try the same sign-in method you originally used. If the issue continues, contact Support. Do not create another account expecting it to restore access to an existing wallet.
Why are some features unavailable to me?
Trading is open to people aged 18 or older in the United States. International trading is coming soon. Supported assets and features can also depend on the network, account, and service provider. Public browsing does not establish trading eligibility.
How do I send a post to someone?
Use the post’s Send control, choose recipients, and confirm. The full picker supports up to ten selections, with separate-send and group options. You must be signed in.
What happens when I open a shared post link?
The web link opens the author’s profile and brings the shared post into view with a subtle highlight. Removed or unavailable posts may no longer be accessible.
Why do Report, Block, or Restrict ask me to sign in?
These actions belong to an account. Their menu entries remain visible to guests, but signing in is required before using them.
Does a verification badge mean a trade is safe?
No. An account badge is not an endorsement of a token, a guarantee of identity in every context, or a promise that a trade will succeed.
How does FADE’s trader leaderboard work?
Traders are ordered by dollar profit and loss (P&L) for the selected period, from highest to lowest. A gain ranks above zero, and zero ranks above a loss. Among losses, the smaller loss ranks higher. Deposits, withdrawals, and portfolio size are not trading profit. When P&L is equal, the older FADE account has seniority. Only accounts that have activated an embedded trading wallet are eligible; a zero balance or no trading activity does not disqualify an eligible account. Social-only accounts do not enter the trader rankings.
What do 24H, 7D, 30D, and All-time mean?
24H shows the twenty-four-hour period, 7D the seven-day period, 30D the thirty-day period, and All-time the recorded trading history available to FADE. Each view has its own standings and dollar P&L, so the same trader can hold different ranks across periods. The “You” card shows your rank and P&L for the period you select. An unavailable value is not the same as zero. The shorter-period lists show up to 150 eligible traders; All-time shows up to 100.
What do the gold, silver, and bronze badges mean?
Gold marks first place, silver second place, and bronze third place in the All-time trader standings. These are leaderboard awards, distinct from ordinary account verification. Shorter-period results do not grant the account-wide award, and fourth place has no medal. An award follows its holder while they occupy that All-time position and changes when the standings change. It takes display priority over an ordinary verification badge; when a trader leaves the top three, their existing verification badge returns, if they have one. A medal is not an endorsement, a safety guarantee, or a promise of future returns.
Do rankings guarantee future results?
No. A ranking is a view of recorded activity under a particular calculation and time period. It does not establish that another person’s next trade will be profitable.
How should I use posts about trading?
Treat them as someone else’s opinion or experience. Check the asset and data yourself. Popularity, screenshots, and confident language do not establish reliability.
Can a token lose all its value?
Yes. Prices can collapse and liquidity can disappear. You may be unable to sell at the displayed price, or at all. Do not assume a listed token has been approved as safe.
How do I report impersonation or suspicious outreach?
Use Report on the relevant profile or content, or contact Support. Include the public username and what happened. Do not send funds or credentials to someone claiming they can fix your account.
How do I submit product feedback?
Email support@fade.family with your suggestion or the steps that caused a problem. For account-specific issues, keep private details out of public comments.
Where should copyright notices go?
Use the copyright reporting page or email copyright@fade.family. Follow the notice requirements on that page so the team has the information needed to review your request.
Where can I read about my data?
The Privacy Policy explains FADE’s published data practices. For a question about your account or a privacy request, contact Support through the links below.
What is the FADE coin?
Use FADE’s official announcements to verify any FADE coin information. This FAQ does not announce a launch date or publish a token contract address. Until those details are published, a token using the FADE name or artwork should not be assumed to be ours. The app and a token are separate: owning a coin does not automatically give you equity in the company, guaranteed returns, or rights that have not been expressly published.
Can I buy the FADE coin with a debit card?
Debit-card availability has not been confirmed. Check any officially announced purchase flow for supported payment methods, provider requirements, location restrictions, limits, and fees. Do not send card details to someone in a DM claiming to sell the FADE coin.
Can I buy the FADE coin with Apple Pay?
Apple Pay support for the FADE coin has not been confirmed. If supported in an officially announced purchase flow, it will appear there. Availability may depend on your location, device, payment provider, and eligibility.
Where will the official FADE coin purchase details be published?
Use announcements linked from FADE’s official website and official account. Confirm the network and contract address before buying; a matching name, ticker, or logo is not sufficient to identify a token.
How should I verify an official FADE coin purchase route?
Start with an announcement linked from FADE’s official website, verify the contract address and network, and review any supported purchase route. Review the quote and costs before confirming. There is no guaranteed best entry price, and availability does not remove the risk of losing your money.
Does the FADE coin guarantee rewards or access?
No reward, yield, allocation, or feature entitlement should be assumed. Rely on any specific terms published by FADE rather than rumors, screenshots, or unofficial promotional messages.
Can following another trader make me money?
It can lead to gains or losses. Another person’s past results do not establish what will happen next, and your execution price, timing, fees, and position size may differ. You may see their entry after the market has already moved, or miss an exit entirely. A profitable screenshot can omit losing positions or earlier losses. Understand the asset and decide how much risk you are willing to take before acting. FADE’s social tools provide context; they do not make another person responsible for your trade.
What does copying a trade involve?
Copying means taking a position similar to someone else’s, manually or through an expressly supported automation tool. Reading a post, following an account, and executing a transaction are different actions. Do not assume following someone authorizes automatic trades on FADE.
Is copying a trader suitable for someone new to crypto?
It still requires understanding the transaction and its risks. The other trader may have a different budget, time horizon, or tolerance for losses. Learn how quotes, fees, liquidity, and wallet approvals work before committing funds. No popularity ranking substitutes for that understanding.
How do I assess a trader’s public track record?
Look at the period covered, losses as well as gains, the size and concentration of positions, and what the data excludes. A short winning streak or a large percentage gain on a tiny position can be misleading. Public data may not show all of a person’s wallets or trades.
Are social trading and automatic copy trading the same?
No. Social trading can mean discussing markets and observing activity. Automatic copying requires a separate execution mechanism and explicit permissions. A social feed does not itself establish that such automation is available.
What is a crypto wallet used for?
A wallet lets you view blockchain assets and authorize transactions. The assets are recorded on the blockchain; the wallet provides the tools and access needed to interact with them.
How is a wallet address different from a private key?
An address identifies an account and can be shared to receive assets. A private key authorizes actions for that account and must remain secret. Knowing an address should not grant control of its funds.
What does self-custody mean?
Self-custody means control depends on your wallet’s signing and recovery arrangements rather than an exchange holding assets for you. Understand those arrangements before depositing; recovering a website login does not necessarily recover wallet access.
What is a recovery phrase?
Some wallets use a set of words as a backup for wallet access. Anyone who obtains it may be able to control the wallet. Never paste it into a support chat or an unverified website.
What does connecting a wallet authorize?
A connection commonly lets an app see your address and request actions. Signing a message, approving token spending, and sending a transaction can grant different permissions. Review each request rather than treating connection as blanket approval.
Why must the sending and receiving networks match?
The same asset name can exist on different networks, and a destination may not support every version. Check both sides before transferring. Sending on an unsupported network can make recovery difficult or impossible.
What are decentralized applications?
Decentralized applications use blockchain-based components, often smart contracts. They can still have website, operator, oracle, and contract risks; the label does not guarantee security.
How do centralized and decentralized exchanges differ?
A centralized exchange operates through an intermediary’s accounts and systems. A decentralized exchange uses blockchain transactions and contracts for trading. Each has different custody, execution, and operational risks.
What makes a token a memecoin?
Memecoins are commonly associated with internet culture or communities. That label says little about a token’s design, liquidity, ownership concentration, or risk. A strong community does not guarantee durable value.
Are all memecoins fraudulent?
No, but the category includes scams and highly speculative projects. Verify the asset and examine its mechanics independently. An active social account or a familiar logo is not evidence that a project is legitimate.
How do Bitcoin and newer community tokens differ?
They can differ in network design, issuance, trading history, liquidity, and how ownership is distributed. Being called crypto does not make two assets equivalent or give them the same risks.
Can anyone create a token?
Many networks provide tools for creating tokens. Creation alone does not establish usefulness, legitimacy, or a liquid market. FADE’s discovery interface should not be mistaken for a token-creation service.
How do token launchpads work?
Launchpads help projects create or distribute tokens under platform-specific rules. Review the issuance process, costs, restrictions, and liquidity arrangements. A launchpad listing is not a guarantee of success.
What does a bonding curve do?
A bonding curve uses a formula to relate token purchases or sales to price. Its specific rules determine the outcome. Check the launch platform’s documentation rather than assuming every curve behaves the same way.
What does graduation mean for a new token?
Some launch platforms move a token to another trading setup when defined milestones are met. The threshold and destination depend on the platform. Graduation does not mean a token has passed a safety review.
Why does liquidity matter when I sell?
Liquidity affects whether a trade can execute and how much it moves the price. A displayed valuation can be large while the amount available to buy your tokens is small.
Does locked liquidity eliminate token risk?
No. A lock may restrict access to specified liquidity for a defined period. It does not remove contract vulnerabilities, concentrated ownership, manipulation, or every way value can be lost.
How should I interpret market capitalization?
Market capitalization usually multiplies a token’s price by its circulating supply. It is an estimate of value, not a pool of cash available for sellers. Supply definitions and stale inputs can change the figure.
What does a volume figure tell me?
Volume measures trading activity over a stated period. It is different from liquidity and does not establish that activity is organic. Check the timeframe and data source when comparing tokens.
What do network fees pay for?
Network fees pay for processing blockchain activity. They can change with network conditions and differ from FADE’s platform fee. Check the transaction details before signing.
What does slippage tolerance control?
It limits the permitted difference between the quoted outcome and execution under the trading route’s rules. A larger tolerance can allow a worse result; a smaller tolerance can cause a trade to fail.
Why can a large order move the price?
An order can consume a meaningful share of available liquidity. This price impact is separate from later market movement and can make the average execution price worse than the initial displayed price.
What should I review on a token page?
Confirm the network and contract address, freshness of data, liquidity, volume timeframe, supply assumptions, and available risk information. A ticker can be reused by unrelated tokens, and a chart alone does not verify an asset.
What is a rug pull?
A rug pull describes a project or participants extracting value in ways that leave other holders with major losses, such as removing liquidity. Warning signs can help, but no checklist guarantees detection.
How much do I need to begin?
There is no universal starting amount. Minimum transaction sizes and fees vary, and a small trade can still lose its full value. Review the live minimum and costs rather than assuming a fixed dollar amount will work.
Is a small budget enough to learn?
You can learn the interface and review public market information without placing a trade. If you choose to trade, consider the total cost and whether you can afford to lose the amount committed.
Can losses exceed the amount I put into a trade?
For an unleveraged spot purchase, the token itself can lose its full purchase value, and fees add costs. Borrowing, leverage, derivatives, or compromised wallet permissions can create different exposures. Never assume the same limit applies to every product or approval.
How do short-term and longer-term trading differ?
Short-term trading relies on frequent entries and exits; longer holding periods expose you to more market developments over time. Both can lose money. Frequent trading also accumulates fees and depends heavily on execution.
What are position size and risk-to-reward?
Position size is how much exposure you take. Risk-to-reward compares a possible loss with a hoped-for gain under stated assumptions. Neither calculation predicts the outcome, and an exit may not execute at the price you expect.
How can I avoid acting only on hype?
Pause before approving a trade, check the asset and costs, and decide your limits independently of social pressure. Repeatedly increasing a position to chase losses can compound the damage. It is reasonable to step away rather than trade.
Can trading bots or AI guarantee better results?
No. Automation can repeat mistakes rapidly and introduces permission, execution, and software risks. An AI discussion or roadmap item does not mean agent trading is available on FADE. Review the permissions of any tool you use.
Do crypto transactions have tax consequences?
They can. In the U.S., selling, exchanging, or otherwise disposing of digital assets can require reporting, even without a cash withdrawal. Keep transaction and cost records and consult guidance for your jurisdiction. See the IRS digital-assets guidance for U.S. reporting information. FADE’s displayed P&L is not a completed tax return.
