These terms cover the FADE app and fade.family. Using either means you accept them. If you do not, do not use FADE.
You have to be 18 or older
FADE is about speculative memecoin markets and carries unmoderated conversation between strangers. It is not built for children and we do not knowingly keep accounts for anyone under 18.
Nothing here is financial advice
FADE is a place people talk about coins and put their name on a call. It is commentary, not advice, not a recommendation, and not a prediction. Nobody on FADE — including anyone with a badge, a good record, or a large following — is your advisor.
We never hold your funds or your wallet's keys. Trading is available in the United States to people aged 18 or older and is subject to separate trading terms. International trading is coming soon. Market data shown in the app comes from public sources and can be wrong, stale, or missing. Memecoins routinely go to zero. What you do with your money is yours alone.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
By posting on FADE you agree not to publish or send:
- sexual content involving minors, or any sexualised content of a real person posted without their consent;
- threats, harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse of anyone;
- hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are;
- graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm;
- scams, phishing, fake giveaways, impersonation, or coordinated manipulation of a coin's price;
- other people's private information;
- spam, bots, or automated posting;
- anything you do not have the right to post.
There is no tolerance for any of it. Content that breaks these rules is removed. The most serious of them end an account immediately and permanently, without notice and without refund of anything — including sexual content involving minors; sexualised content of a real person posted without their consent; credible threats of violence; wallet drainers, phishing and fake giveaways; posting a contract address you know to be a clone of another token; impersonating a person or a coin's team; and returning on a new account after an account of yours was terminated. For the rest, enforcement scales with how serious it was and whether it happens again, up to and including termination. Our community guidelines set out the steps.
Reports are reviewed and acted on; you can also block any account, which stops them interacting with you or seeing your posts.
Your content stays yours
You own what you post. You give FADE permission to store, display and distribute it inside the product so the app can work — that is the whole licence, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already made by other users or required by law.
Callouts are permanent by design. A call is timestamped at the market price when you make it and cannot be edited afterwards. That is the point of the feature: a record nobody can quietly improve. Deleting your account removes your callouts along with everything else.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your handle. One person, one account; do not impersonate anyone or sell your account. Settings → Delete account erases it and everything attached to it, immediately and permanently. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms.
Emails, notifications and live updates
By creating an account and accepting these terms, you agree to receive FADE emails at the address associated with your account. Where permitted by law, this automatically enrolls you in FADE product news, feature announcements, community news and other optional updates. Where separate consent is required, we will ask for it before sending optional emails.
You can unsubscribe from optional emails using the instructions in a message or by contacting support@fade.family. Unsubscribing does not stop essential account, security, transaction or service notices. An existing unsubscribe or notification preference continues to apply; accepting updated terms does not override it.
FADE may also show news and service updates inside the app and, when you enable them, send push notifications and live updates outside the app. These may appear on your device's Lock Screen, notification center, browser, widgets or Live Activities, where supported, including while FADE is closed or in the background. They may include messages, social activity, market updates and account or transaction status. Delivery and freshness are not guaranteed; use the app to confirm current information.
Outside-app updates depend on your device permissions and notification settings, which you can change or disable. Promotional push notifications require a separate, explicit opt-in and an option to opt out. Accepting these terms does not grant device permissions or turn on promotional push notifications. Choose your preview settings carefully on shared or visible devices.
FADE is provided as-is
FADE is free and offered without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, correct, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it — including trading losses, which are never ours.
Apple
On iOS this agreement is between you and FADE, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the app or its content, and no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Copyright
If something on FADE infringes your copyright, our DMCA policy explains how to have it removed.
Changes
If these terms change materially we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
